The Westfield School is an independent, non-denominational, college preparatory school in a Christian environment for grades Pre-K through 12th located on a 28-acre campus in Perry, Georgia.
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month, and as many of you probably remember, last year Westfield students, faculty, staff, as well as, members of our community, raised over $1000 in just one week for Mary Elizabeth Paris. Mary Elizabeth "ME" is the daughter of Westfield Class of ’91 alumna, Mandi Posey Paris. ME has been battling her fight against cancer for over a year now. Doctors at St. Jude have told the family that there are no further treatments that St. Jude can offer. So, now they are waiting for a hospital that may have a trial treatment to offer her. Westfield will host a fundraising event for Mary Elizabeth, on September 11, 2015 at the Westfield/Deerfield Windsor home football game. During halftime of the game, a special prayer will be said for ME, and we are asking for all that would like to attend to come out and join us as “WHS Walks and Prays for ME”. A t-shirt has been designed for the students, families, and staff of Westfield to wear that Friday to school, as well as, to the football game. The cost of the t-shirt is $15. ALL proceeds will go to CURE Childhood Cancer Association in honor of ME. If you would like to order t-shirts for your child and family, click here to go to the order form no later than September 1st. T-shirts will be sent home by Thursday, September 10th.
