Westfield Swim Team at GISA State Meet
Congratulations to the Westfield Swim Team for an outstanding performance at the GISA Swim Meet held Saturday, February 6th at the Georgia Tech Aquatic Center. Declan Poorman placed 3rd in the 100 yard backstroke; 2nd in the 200 yard freestyle; and 4th in the 100 yard freestyle. The Varsity Boys placed 7th in the state out of 30 schools that were represented. All swimmers representing Westfield in the state meet -- Josh Mullis, Declan Poorman, Lanier Moore, Sierra Moore, and Adam Jones -- improved their best times in each event. The swim team is coached by Marissa Ellis and Greta Wright.
