Westfield Wrestlers Win at GISA State Individuals Meet
Congratulations to the Westfield Wrestling Team, placing third in the GISA State Individual Tournament. Placers included Ben Brooks (6th at 112), Evan Williams (5th at 125), Ben Kinnebrew (5th at 130), Jared Parnell (1st at 140), Cole Crouch (3rd at 152), Kenneth Brown (6th at 160), Matt Coleman (3rd at 171), Bryan Thompson (5th at 189), and Ashton Leavengood (1st at 215). Special congratulations go to Jared Parnell and Ashton Leavengood for winning first place each in their respective weight classes -- second state championships for both Ashton and Jared. The Wrestling Team is coached by Barry DeMott and Mike Thompson.
