Board of Visitors

In the Fall of 2003, Westfield’s Board of Trustees recognized the sincere interest of devoted friends and citizens in the community, and decided to provide an official active role for this select group of supporters.  The Board of Visitors has served as supporters of and ambassadors for Westfield.  Many of these serving on the Board of Visitors are past board members and founders of The Westfield School.

Quick Facts

  • Perry Christian Day School (later to be named Westfield) opened August 31, 1970. While the school buildings were under construction, Grades 1-6 held classes at The Perry United Methodist Church and grades 7-12 held classes at Perry First Baptist.
  • Mr. James (Jim) Worrall was the first administrator of Westfield.
  • Mr. Charles Shelton was the first Board of Trustees chairman.
