Welcome

The Westfield School has been blessed with a remarkable level of support from those committed to our Mission:

...to provide a premier college preparatory education in a Christian environment ."

We know that our outstanding faculty, state of the art facilities and exceptional students would not be possible without the generous support of the entire Westfield family.  As Westfield continues to meet and exceed benchmarks in the areas of academics, athletics, and the performing arts, it continues to be an independent school of unparalleled excellence in the central Georgia area.

As a not for profit independent school, Westfield is dependent on tuition and the support of those who believe in and support our Mission.  There are a variety of campaigns and ways to support Westfield, whether through a financial gift or volunteering your time and talents.

Congratulations, 2022 Award Recipients!

Congratulations to Jeanna Bishop Smallwood ’94, recipient of the 2022 Westfield-Beechwood-Baker Alumni Association Award. Jeanna has supported Westfield for many years through her involvement in volunteering for the Annual Fund, Spirit Shop, and Booster Club. She served as president of the Westfield Family Organization (WFO) and was responsible for serving the pre-game meal for the varsity football team for both home and away games for many years. Jeanna worked as a kindergarten assistant teacher for several years and is still contributing as a substitute teacher. She is a founding member and past president of the Malala Club and is an active member of Perry United Methodist Church, serving in many capacities. Jeanna and her husband, Lee Smallwood ‘91, are the parents of two Westfield graduates: Hunter ‘20 and Bishop ‘22. She is a well-respected, beloved, and trusted leader who always represents Westfield to the best of her ability. We are truly grateful to Jeanna and her family for their contributions to Westfield! #2022alumniaward

Congratulation to the Honorable Lawrence Cohen Walker, Jr., recipient of the 2022 Spirit of Westfield Award. Mr. Larry Walker, and his wife Janice, have been supported Westfield from its very beginning. He assisted with the original school charter and maintained the corporate minutes and records of the school for decades. Most recently, Larry, an attorney, legislator, and published author, wrote the forward to the 50th anniversary edition of the “History of Westfield.” He and Janice’s four children are all Westfield graduates: Larry Walker III ‘83, Wendy Walker Way ‘86, Russell Walker ‘89, and John Gray Walker ‘91. In addition, they have five grandchildren who are Westfield alumni: Cody Walker ‘10, Haley Way Yarbrough ‘10, Gray Way ‘12, Wade Walker ‘15, and Walker Way ‘20. Three grandchildren are current Hornets: Sophie Walker (9th), Stella Walker (5th), and Knighton Walker (4th). Indeed, Larry and the Walker family’s dedication and pride in Westfield truly exemplifies the true meaning of the “Spirit of Westfield”! Thank you, Larry and Janice Walker for your continued support of Westfield! #spiritofwestfield
