Our 2023-2024 Annual Fund Playground
The Annual Fund has been instrumental to improving our school. With the support of our Westfield families and community, we have enchanced our Lower School playground.
A huge thank you to everyone who made our 2024–2025 Annual Fund, Nurturing Growth Through Play, a success! Because of your generosity, our students are now climbing, sliding, and dreaming big on a playground that inspires friendship, fun, and endless adventures! We appreciate your continued commitment to our school and the well-being of our children, ensuring that future generations of students will enjoy the playground as much as those in the past have.
Your gifts to the 2024-2025 Lower School playground Annual Fund enabled us to:

Remove pea gravel and install new, safer cushioned surfacing.

Incorporate freestanding play for children ages 2-12 with friendship swings, fly winner spinners, domes, oodle swings, and we-saws.

Update the playground fence to ensure safety and durability.

Provide enhanced belted swings with cushioned surfacing.

Place stumps under our beloved BIG TREE to create a shaded area for an outdoor classroom and hangout spots.

Introduce a Smart Play compact structure for ages 5-12 that promotes physical development and strategic thinking, while also creating hangout sections. Features include a belt bridge, square loop vertical climber, Windowpane overhead ladder, double swoosh slide, Fire Pole, tight rope, wood plank ladder, Cabin Climber, Cabin Seating area, square steppers, turning bar, and belt hammock.

Additionally, a ninja warrior-like play structure for ages 5-12 which include:
