Senior Sophie Walker Selected as 2026 STAR Student

Congratulations to senior Sophie Walker, Westfield's 2026 STAR Student and Mrs. Robin Leonard, STAR Teacher!

Sophie has received numerous academic and leadership awards. She is a 2025 Governors Honors Finalist in biology and received recognition as an AP Scholar with Distinction. She is also a dedicated dancer and artist. Sophie has brought her talent and leadership to numerous roles both inside and outside the walls of

The Westfield School. Sophie is a member of student council and is on Perry Methodist Church's Youth Leadership Board. Sophie is humble and kind, setting high academic standards and even higher standards of integrity and responsibility.

Sophie plans to attend Wake Forest University in the fall. Sophie is the daughter of John Gray and Sharon Walker of Perry. Congratulations Sophie and Mrs. Leonard!
